About Us

Recent research conducted on Negarstan decorative tiles investigates the impact of deposition time and gas pressure on the quality of the coating layers formed on the surface of Apadana tiles produced in gold and silver shades. The experiments show how variations in these conditions can lead to significant changes in the thickness of the coating layers on the tiles.

What Was Investigated in This Research?
In this study, the surface of the tiles was first prepared by sanding, and then a gold layer was applied. Various samples were exposed to different gas pressures and deposition times to examine the effects of these factors on the thickness of the created layers.

What Do the Results Indicate?
Microscopic images of the cross-section of the tiles clearly show that as deposition time increases, the thickness of the titanium layer on the surface of Negarstan decorative tiles also increases. For example, after one minute of deposition, the layer thickness was about 216 micrometers, which was insufficient for proper adhesion. However, after increasing the deposition time to 4 minutes, the layer thickness increased to 229 micrometers. When the time reached 8 minutes, the layer thickness reached 243 micrometers.
These results indicate that the thickness of the titanium layer is directly dependent on the deposition time. In other words, the longer the process, the thicker the layers will become.

What Is the Best Deposition Time?
Ultimately, the results of this research suggest that the best deposition time for optimal coating quality is 4 minutes. At this time, the titanium layer reaches an appropriate thickness, and a desirable color is achieved. However, it should be noted that in some cases, an additional gold layer may be needed on top of the titanium layer. Additionally, a longer deposition time may cause problems in later stages, such as the laser process.

Why Is This Research Important?
This research helps us understand how different conditions can impact the production process of decorative tiles. Optimizing these conditions can lead to the production of high-quality Negarstan decorative tiles that are improved both in terms of durability and appearance.

Conclusion:
If you are looking to produce high-quality tiles that are both beautiful and durable, it is essential to carefully examine and adjust the production conditions. This research shows that deposition time and gas pressure play a key role in the thickness and quality of the layers. Paying attention to these details will help you produce Negarstan decorative tiles in gold and silver shades with high quality and long-lasting durability.
